Mental Health Treatment for Women
At Rising Roads, we understand that mental illness affects men and women differently. Women often experience completely different symptoms from men who have the same conditions. They also contend with gender-specific risk factors for mental illness. The social pressures associated with womanhood, the stress of being a mother, and the specific experiences of women are all covered in our comprehensive program.

The ups and downs of bipolar disorder can make it difficult to achieve stability in day-to-day life. Through a combination of psychiatric intervention and intensive therapy, the women of Rising Roads find hope and purpose.

Women who experience trauma in childhood or adulthood are at risk for PTSD: post-traumatic stress disorder. Our trauma-first approach helps women to unpack the past, thrive in the present, and prepare for the future.
