INDIVIDUAL AND GROUP THERAPY
The Rising Roads program includes both individual and group therapy. When clients arrive at Rising Roads, they are assigned a primary therapist who is the best fit for them. Regardless of the level of care they are engaged in, clients and their therapist work together throughout their time at Rising Roads. During the first week, they meet for a complete history and set up a treatment plan for the 90-day stay. This treatment plan lists challenges the individual is facing as well as goals to be attained. This plan can be adjusted as the process evolves in the therapeutic process. Our designated Rising Roads Family Therapist does individual family therapy.
Group therapy is a powerful way to accelerate the healing process. A group allows participants to support one another, helps them realize they are not alone, and facilitates relating in healthier ways. Therapists trained in their specific modality run our groups.
Examples of group therapy at Rising Roads:
Healthy Relationships
Grief and Loss
Psychodrama
Expressive Arts
DBT Skills
Process groups
Breathwork
Nutrition
Both group and individual therapy are imperative to the therapeutic process and work together to help the women of Rising Roads uncover, discover and discard what is no longer serving them so they can experience joy, peace, and freedom in their lives.
